Waiting for funding. Feeling a little morose to hear that Cambridge International Scholarship's been given out.

Applied in early December, received admission letter by email on 3 February, college allocation several days later. Waiting for funding results (EU citizen with UK undergrad + 2 UK Masters)

(RE: vice chancellor's award / UKRC) It's a slightly greater stipend, yes, but UKRC funding opens up a range of other opportunities such as travel allowances for conferences and fieldwork, language courses, etc. The most ideal situation would be to have joint funding from the VCA and a UKRC... just interested if anyone else had heard back

To the poster below who received the Vice-Chancellor's Award, why are you keen on AHRC funding? Doesn't the Vice-Chancellor's Award provide the same tuition waiver and a slightly higher stipend?

Hey guys, I got the offer with a Vice-Chancellor's Award about 3 weeks ago. Has anyone at all heard back from UK research councils yet? AHRC, NERC, ESRC, etc...

Waitlisted for Mphil and told that I would need to wait till April until they assess all other applications. This probably means that even if admitted by chance, no chance of funding whatsoever....Well, if that's the case, thanks but no thanks.

Awaiting decision by BOGS. UK student, applied mid-December, under consideration by degree committee until today.

I had an interview with my potential supervisor a fortnight ago. The Degree Committee (DC) are meeting tomorrow to take a decision on the remainder of the applications (according to the guidance I was given from an administrative staff member on the DC). LLB (2.1) from a Russell Group uni; LLM (Distinction) from a Russell Group uni; currently LLM by Research at a Russell Group Uni (projected Distinction); four publications.

Invited for interview on 24th January, haven't heard anything since. Still 'Under Consideration by Degree Committee'. Did my LLM at Cambridge and graduated first class.
