Did anyone hear from the admission committee about the release of rest of the results. I emailed twice but didn't receive any reply. Probably rejected :(

To the post below: Penn State had flyout about two weeks ago, and I believe they are expending offers. Most of those will fell through and they will probably have more offers. Maryland had interviews last week. Cornell has already made offers. If you have not heard from any of these schools, the chances for you to get an interview is pretty low I think, at this point.

I have not been able to reach any of the schools mentioned. Does anyone else have any information?

TTPB: So does mine but I've heard from PSU that the change in my page will take a few days. And got the offer via e-mail notification.

TTPB : How were you notified? my page still says "The Graduate School has received your application."

Super surprised!! Never expected this admission from PSU! Got offer with full funding. Gonna accept happily :)

To the poster below: when did you get the admission?

My undergrad GPA is lower than 3.0 (out of 4.0), but I have more than 15 publications (half of them 1st author).

No financial support.

Currently getting a MS in Physics. 1 paper in submission to ApJ, another in the works. 6 conference presentations. At least 1 very strong LOR. 3 workshops attended between HPC and Astrophysics. Teaching experience.

Hi, I am in the wait-list for funding opportunities. If you have a better offer, could you decline this offer ASAP? Penn State is on top of my list.

Well there goes top choice. I think I'm going to turn down everything else and try next year. Tenured professors don't come out of rank 60 schools.

TTPB: I noticed all the recent rejections were international students. Maybe they reject them before domestic? I don't know but I'm in the same boat as you.

I saw there's wave of rejections coming yesterday but for me still nothing. Does this suggest that I'm on the waitlist? Or they simply do rejections in waves too...
