They didn't even bother to send me rejection on the first wave. Rejection is confirmed after reaching out to them. Two MS in Electrical ENG and Biomedical ENG from Top 30 american schools. Two 1st-author journal pub, one book chapter, one US patent, five conference posters/presentation. 20 months research in full-time (40 hour/week). Previously inform chat with POI. Didn't have interview.

This one hurt.

Previously had a cursory interview. Prepared poorly.

Emailed program coordinator, was informed all interview invites had been sent out before holiday.

Was expected, I have research experience both paid and non-paid but a low undergraduate GPA. Seemed nicer than a generic rejection email with "Our Admissions Committee has carefully reviewed all applications received and we regret to inform you that we will not be able to extend you an invitation to interview."

All interview notices have been sent out as of now.

BS in Psychology, MS in Medical Science, concentration Aging and Neuroscience, 1 publication with multiple in prep.
