So awesome! Third acceptance so far! Ungrad GPA 3.24, 3.5 years of research experience. Worked in a prestigious institution abroad for 1.3 years. Have one 1st author paper. 3 strong letters of recommendation.

Phone interview schedule with poi during the first week of January

Email notifying me that I was not selected for an interview. Luckily, I do have interviews with University at Albany and University of Wisconsin and Still waiting to hear back from 3 more schools.

Yet to receive a formal admission decision. Why is it getting exceedingly late? Anyone who has had any correspondence with Iowa State?

I emailed the professor I wished to work with and was notified promptly that I would be admitted to the program. Have two solid years of research experience in astrophysics and mechanical engineering, plus industry/internship experience. Involved in three student organizations during my undergraduate years.

Third reject, fourth school suggesting I go for another Master's degree. Well...
