TPB: I have not yet heard from Maryland. They did not start their process early enough, and I think it is about time for them to finish interviews and the first round of offer to be extended but I have not seen anyone saying "Interview" so may not have interviews yet even. For Cornel, they have made some offers, but students are taking time to response since some top schools have just made their offers recently. For Penn State, you can email the PhD coordinator. He is a great guy. If you think you may have a chance and live in the U.S., you may want to fly out this coming week and visti the campus and talk with the coordinator. He will tell you that he is still waiting to hear from the ones he made offers, but I think it is worth checking and putting efforts in.

I had to call after waiting and waiting to even get an update on my app. and the responded by emailing me that I had been wait listed.

Waitlisted on 2/28 after interview due to a restricted number of offers. Emailed by POI today that she was unable to get additional funding to offer me a place, nothing I could've done. This was my top choice, we're both very disappointed.

Not shocked considering it's the end of March, but received an email with the official letter attached.

To the poster below, our visit was a few days ago (the 24th-26th) so you're probably on an unofficial wait list or something!

Since it's been three weeks, I checked again over the phone- they're still working on applications but expect things early next week!

Has anyone received communication from Penn State regarding MS ? If they have, are all the acceptances out and only rejected people haven't been notified ?

I had not heard anything yet, so I emailed a staff member and was informed that I was not chosen for admission.

To the poster below: I agree that since they're having an open house that would mean all acceptances have been given out. I didn't know they accepted people that late previously so I'm hoping for the best. Good luck!!
