I had an interview on February 11th 2017 and received an acceptance email February 15th.

Very excited and have already accepted it. It is my dream school.

On the Wednesday directly following the interview/recruitment weekend (first weekend of February) I was sent a pleasant email from the DGS stating that I was on their short waitlist.

Received an email indicating that I was short listed and they would like to fly me to Atlanta for an interview/recruitment weekend alongside the other finalists.

Please withdraw/reject your Ph.D application from Emory Univ. if you have already received a better offer.

Rejected post-interview. Lots of research experience, multiple pubs, enthusiastic (top choice), felt great about the interviews. Very disappointed. Best of luck to the other candidates. It's a great program.

Also applied to PhD but got rejected a few days ago. Got another email today saying I was accepted to the MSPH program. Already declined.

Rejected from the PhD program a few days ago, but surprisingly admitted to their Masters program today. I think this is pretty common for them to do?

Anyone hear from Emory's Graduate dept. of Religion in subfields other than NT, HB/OT, History, or WSAR? They have like 9 subfields, and I haven't heard a peep from Theology or Ethics folks--and those concentrations usually have some of the biggest applicant pools. Any info are you'd be willing to share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
