Interviewed in Feb. 14, but didn't make it to the initial top 4 earning a place on the waitlist. I was moved off the waitlist and received an informal email from the department with with the admission offer. Just replied confirming my acceptance. Best news I've had in a long time! In state American, portal still looks the same for me

Does one reject mean reject for all three applications or do we get individual rejects?

TTPB: in-state american here, experiencing the same. Looks like it will be bloodshed soon

Was told a decision after April 15 deadline is also likely, in which case I'll have to obtain written permission from any other university I accepted to accept this offer.

out-of-state American, portal has changed and the lines on the head has been removed. so i guess the results will come out tonight. Does anyone has the same situation like me?

Anyone else's portal status changed? I am no longer seeing the message at the top. (I'm out of state, american)

TTPB: I am a in state student and some of my in-state friends have gotten in to UCSD already, this isn't looking too promising.

TTPB: I see. I'm in-state. I have not yet seen any domestic students posted their status here for UCSD MSCS this year, which kinda makes me feel they left our applications in the corner of a dusty room and just forgot about them for some reason haha. Jokes aside, wish we will at least hear back from them by Wednesday. Good luck to y'all.

Cumulative gpa right above minimum required, major gpa was at a 3.0. Internships for 2 summers, undergrad research, and good letters probably got me accepted.

TTPB: Are you guys in-state, out-of-state, or international students?

TTPB: I am also waiting. Things don't look promising but I hope the odds are in our favor. Someone before said that the admissions committee is expected to announce all decisions by/on April 15th, so we shall have some closure soon. Fingers crossed.
