0a/0w/4r/4p I'm starting to go numb at this point

I was accepted via email on Monday night and Greg called me Tuesday night to let me know how much he wants me to come to the program. I also asked about funding and Greg was extremely helpful-- he let me know he will advocate for me as much as he can, and there are funding opportunities I can apply to within EWU on my own. I'm over the moon!

Apparently there are 17 people on the waitlist? Is this across all genres? Lol.

Such a bizarre season for me! 2a / 2w / 7r / 4p

Voicemail from EJ Levy with invitation to call back with any questions I may have about the program. Presumably will have to wait to hear about funding. Even if funding isn't enough for me to attend, I'm very honored by the acceptance.

at the same time i was in class being informed of a classmate's suicide, i got this rejection email. it simultaneously made me feel better (me worrying about whether i get into grad school is so laughably inconsequential considering) and worse (because it still fucking sucks anyway). i walked around in the cold for a half hour or so, then had a breakdown over pita chips. i know no one cares but i had to let it out somewhere. thanks for reading, yeet
