Ignore waitlist. Anyone without a decision have heard back from UCLA or have attempted to email them? I emailed them at least 3 times in the last month to 2 different email addresses and received no response. Does this department cares about applicants? The worst part is the application fee, to all seriousness, a department so inconsiderate is probably not anyone would end up wanting to be. F**K THEM I am going to file a credit card dispute on the application fee. What a disappointment to all of human decency.

Did mech. engg. in undergrad and didn't like it, so switched to an urban policy career over the years. Got great feedback from admissions officer for application, but clearly that didn't cut it.

TTPB, Admission Committee said "All applicants will receive a decision by March 15th." It usually means if you did not get accepted yet, you most likely will get rejected. I think I got rejected too.

Accepted with full tuition 1st year! Have to pay for the Non-Resident Fee for the 2nd & 3rd year($12K)! I heard this can be exempt after living in California for one year! Is this true?

Viewed the page of the portal changed without any notice first, and then logged in again and saw the updates in the website.

Already posted my acceptance. Just got the funding e-mail with 10k fellowship first year, 23k-26k TA-ship years 2-5. I'm guessing this means I am not fully funded for the first year?

Funding gauranteed working as TA years 2-5 for 23k-26k but no mention of stipend for first year. Is this normal?
