3.91 GPA from US R1 University, over 3 years research with 6 pubs in solid journals plus 1 first-author in revision. Currently working in neurodegeneration at top medical school in desired field. Great LORs and a solid personal statement. No GRE.

had my interview a free days ago and received an informal offer today! small program but great PIs and research

A generic rejection email. Sad, but I guess they don't like outside research experience. Only apply if you have DIRECT neuroscience experience. Am a Master's candidate in chemistry with over 5 years of research and TA/GA experience.

The director reached out with a personalized email saying they couldn't offer me a spot for interviews. But they recognized the strength of my application and if I wished, could have my application transferred to the Vision Sciences PhD program (better fit). Definitely said yes, hopefully will hear back from VS soon

We had a very competitive applicant pool and had to make many difficult decisions. If you had selected that you would like to be considered by a Masters program, your application will be transferred to that program and a decision will follow. Please contact that program directly with any questions. Your application will be updated shortly and you will receive official notice from The Graduate School of our decision."

Just checking to see if anyone has gotten their interview itinerary yet. I want to follow up, but don't want to seem rude/pushy.
