Undergrad in CS from Mumbai University, GPA 8.96. 1 paper, no internships, a couple of projects. Status was changed to Deny on Quest (you have been denied admission by the academic department).

To the poster below, I have the exact same status. The POI told me that he has accepted me and I should wait for the official announcement from the university. It has been 2 weeks now.

My POI notified me of my acceptance but the status hasn't been updated on Quest since last 24 days. I didn't even recieve mail today regarding the portal updation. Is it advisable to mail the POI or wait till the end of April ?

I too got the note today: "Regarding your Computer Science Graduate Studies application for Fall 2018, please be advised that your application results will be available by the end of April. Updates are not provided until a decision has been made, at which time Quest will be updated. "

To the poster below: I received that too. Just called them, but no one is answering.

To the poster below: I emailed the office recently and they told me that coursework MMath decisions will not be available until the end of April.

Has anyone heard back from Waterloo for MMath CS - Coursework for Fall 2018. Did anyone send a mail to them?

I applied for their PhD in Computer Science (Quantum Information) program. I was getting anxious as I had to respond to another PhD offer by April 15th. So, I mailed my POI and he responded telling me that he was willing to supervise me as masters student but not as a PhD student. At UWaterloo, a faculty member must commit to supervising a student before they can be accepted.

F*** you Waterloo.

No Interview and just checked the website this morning and found out that the status changed into "Admit". Thesis option. Almost three years of research experience with one top journal paper. I guess two strong LoRs and one good LoR because I waive the right to access it.
