I had been rejected from the PhD program, and was asked whether I wanted to be considered for MA admission. Happy to have an offer, but not sure whether it will be financially feasible.

applied directly to the MA program

If anybody got into this program and isn't planning on accepting the offer, could you reject the offer to help waitlisted applicants like me.

Official letter. Was unofficially notified by POI back in January.

GA offer letter included with letter of admission

Email from PoI with unofficial offer

Tuition Waiver + 18k stipend. Thank god; I was despairing of getting in anywhere.

TA funding + tuition waiver guaranteed for six years

With full funding!!! :O

Asked if wanted to be considered for Master's admission. Last application for Spring of 2020 was offered Master's admission immediately

So delighted to learn of my acceptance! I was informed that I will receive the official admission letter from the Graduate Division in the next few weeks. :)

Also asked if I would like to be considered for masters. Bummer that they don't guarantee funding for MA students.

same as below

Rejected for PhD but asked if I would like to be considered for the MA program.
