I have been asked to submit a research proposal for which my POI has complimented as excellent and said he will support my application. It's been a week now I didn't get any decision from the department. Are the admits for PhD is over now?

TTPB: Texas was worst hit in the recent WINTER STORM. Due to this there is a significant delay (atleast 2 weeks) in the normal administrative activities. I guess they are rolling out decisions just now. I would say you should wait.

TTPB, I have all but given up on receiving anything from TAMU at this point.

TTPB: I am in the same boat, I had my interview last month and the Prof said that he would notify me in a week. But he has not responded to my email I sent two weeks back.

I had an interview but still waiting for email from university. No one from University is responding to email as well. What to do.

TTPB: I applied to the Computer Engineering and Systems Group. Was interviewed in early Feb by two professors. One of the POI is my collaborator who unofficially confirmed that I was being extended an offer. Nevertheless, it should be an RA offer. Haven't received the funding letter yet. Perhaps, something will show up after creating NetID.

Anyone receive a decision from TAMU (MS CE)?

I was admitted into the DICE track o Feb 8th with GRA from POI. My understanding is that the committee made a few offers initially and the faculty are making offers later on a rolling basis. Considering the snowstorm and university closing down last week (and still closed), I think there might be some delay compared to last year to roll out all the offers. Don't lose hope. Good luck!
