Email to check portal, generic rejection. Not surprised as it has been radio silence for awhile

Offered interview for 3/20

Generic rejection "Thank you for applying to Binghamton University. After a thorough review of your application, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission to the Psychology - Clinical Science PhD program at this time. Each year, Binghamton receives a large number of applications from highly qualified candidates, making our admission decisions particularly challenging. We appreciate the effort you invested in your application and commend your academic achievements. We are confident that you will find a program where you can excel. Please note that all admission decisions are final and based on a comprehensive review process. Due to the volume of applications, we are unable to provide individual feedback on decisions."

Interviewed the previous Friday and got in via email on Monday. I am sooo unbelievably stoked by my offer, and I absolutely cannot wait to attend. Will most likely be accepting if I don't hear back from my PhD program.
