To the poster below about Vanderbilt funding. Who did you speak to in order to find out where you were on the list? Did you call or email?

Did not receive funding, but placed on the "alternate" list. Hoping to go, but don't know if it is possible without funding.

Post-Bacc GPA: 4.0- -My GRE scores are weak- Strong LORs -Lots of clinical experience- Got rejected from Vandy, UW & SDSU but got into some other schools. *Point of my post: Don't give up! Apply to a wide range of schools across the country and something will work out.

Solicited three weeks ago and just got an answer back. Expected, but annoyed that they take so long just to reject you.

Email to check application. I emailed them a couple weeks ago to let them know I had committed to a different program and that I was not interested in their program anymore and they said it was truly their loss. A rejection letter is probably just a formality on their part.

Spoke to them about funding and found out I didn't get any but I'm close to top for funding should anyone not accept their offer. I'm hoping to go but I don't think I will without any funding.
