During a regular check on the university's MyStatus found that my application had been denied.

Super excited!

Email from Graduate Director- did not have an interview. Funding information will be sent out in the following weeks. If you really want your PhD, don't give up if this cycle's outcome is not what you hoped for! This was second cycle applying to PhD programs.

Thrilled! Waiting for the funding. First class honours bachelors and MA degree

Received email rejection, had a Master's Degree in Relevant Field (4.0) and Research + Community Experience

Applied and was accepted with full funding! I also had no interview & didn't submit GRE test scores.

a little deflated and somewhat surprising, but considering how few offers they make, I can't be too surprised. Email stated that getting off the waitlist is unlikely.

Contacted for an interview on January 14th, then received friendly unofficial notice from the Graduate Director on January 20th that I had been accepted but waitlisted for funding. Great program, so crossing my fingers I hear back down the line.

4.0 grad GPA: MA (Philosophy) and MTS (Duke Divinity). I've been working in the church for 7 years, and my research interests are perhaps better suited to the ThD anyway. Still waiting to hear back on that one. Also, I decided to apply last minute and I didn't submit GRE scores (they weren't required because of COVID); perhaps my Statement could have been better etc.

Same institution as my undergrad. Most likely will not be accepting as I've already received other offers from higher ranked programs.

Generic and short email stating there were a lot of applicants. Current grad student, 3.75 GPA, extensive Hebrew and Greek, and RA position.

To the poster below: I am also wondering whether “awaiting approval by GAO = offer” but I wouldn't be too sure. As I have it, it is still possible to be rejected at this stage.

To the GS poster below; haven't heard anything back yet either. Fingers crossed.

TTPB: Yeah a bunch of info sci programs share the same timeline for sure. I interviewed at 5 this week. Before actually applying, I scraped interview dates from these kind of programs (UoM, UWash etc) from GradCafe and all were early to mid January. Makes me think this year it's all delayed by a week, and interviews are Mid-Late January.
