Has anyone heard (admit / reject) from NYU ChemE?

TTPB inquiring about NCSU. But owing to the current situation, they said that they are yet to review apps. This seems very unlikely as they already had their first-round released in early Jan. I don't think they will communicate any further. If you have any other admits, you can accept that and wait for NCSU to get back. Good luck to you!!

Has anyone heard for NCSU?

I contacted the Department Chair (April 1st) who said they are still reviewing applications and they will send decisions out by April 15th. It's April 20th now and I still haven't heard back. Worst applications experience. They did not respond to any of my emails until I emailed the chair who responded. And they send me to voicemail whenever I call.

Does anybody here heard from the chemical engineering dept about admission! I am still waiting for any info!

To future applicants, please note that UCLA Chemical & Bimolecular Eng Dept had the worst graduate admission process among all ChE departments in the US. Till this very day, they have not sent out the results for Fall 2020 cohort. Very slow and never responded to emails. Good luck to all.

TTPB: Did anyone get accepted ATM? I noticed only interviews so far from posts here

TTPB: Have you ever contacted their faculties before submitting the application? I was told that the faculties have the right to admit directly, not the committee (I don't even think they have it...) Perhaps you can ask your interested faculties about the progress. I totally give up this school as I never knew they have such a different review process... good luck !

Doesn't hear from UCLA's decision...Are the graduate admissions still working now? Seems the COVID-19 issue messes up everything:(

Posted before about being waitlisted. Accepted on the 15th, I had almost given up hope. Strong LOR from Imperial College London and the University of Edinburgh. 2 years of industry experience in the nuclear sector. Top choice so will be accepting, with full funding!

Finally, that's my last decision. Applied to all top 10 chemE programs and accepted everywhere but two: MIT and UWMadison. MIT, sure... but UWMadison, really...? :eyeroll:
