"We regret to inform you that we cannot accept you for admission to the Anthropology Cultural - PhD program in the 2026 Fall Term. We would like you to know that this decision was reached by the program's admission committee after careful consideration and examination of all the materials you submitted. We very much appreciate the effort and time you spent in crafting and compiling your application and the interest you have shown in the Graduate Center, CUNY. In recent years, we have received a large increase in the number of applications and our entering class size dictates that we must limit our acceptances to a small proportion of those seeking admission. We appreciate the time and effort you invested in your application. Warm regards,"

It was my last resort and now, I don’t know what i will do. “ Dear Applicant, Thank you for your interest in the Chemistry Graduate Program at Iowa State University and for the time and effort you invested in your application and for attending our virtual open house. We regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you admission to our program at this time. The applicant pool this year was highly competitive, and our admissions decisions were primarily based upon available space within the program and alignment with the needs of our research groups. Please note that should additional spots in our program open up, we may reach out to you in April with an offer of admission. While we cannot guarantee further consideration, we wanted to be transparent and keep you informed of this possibility.”
