I just received an email that states that I have been waitlisted to their PhD program. This is my ideal program, so I really hope funding becomes available. Did anyone receive an acceptance that plans to decline their offer????

My nerves are completely fried. I'm seeing that some had interviews weeks ago. I've heard nothing. First cycle of applications and I don't know whether to assume rejection at this point in the season. Any info?

I literally received the email at 2 am and saw it when I woke up and went to bathroom at 5 am. What's the problem with UCLA???? send the rejection at a Friday, at 2am???? I hate this school already.

For those accepted, congratulations! May I ask if you received an unofficial email from POI or an official offer from the website? BU is my top choice, I had an interview but didn't hear yet -- so I am very nervous now :)
