Haven't received an "official" rejection, but checked website and saw my status changed to Denied Acceptance.

Email that the application is going to the department for review, which will take 2-3 weeks, and then notifications are sent by snail mail. Ain't nobody got time for that!!

Already got an email to check the website for a status update (= rejection). Just today got a second email to really drive the point home. In case there was any doubt before, Utah REALLY doesn't want me.

Sad times... Congrats to those accepted!

Bummer.

Scholarship offered, but no TAship. Could get a TAship second year, but it's not guaranteed.

TAship, partial funding

Letter from Stanley Plumley saying that the final word comes down to the Dean of the Graduate program, but I have been recommended for acceptance - and that information about funding will come in late March/April.

informal acceptance via email. Phone call to follow. Small one-time fellowship and in line for TAship.

Resubmitted to change the date: They emailed me to tell me a letter had been posted to the myweb portal. The eventual letter was actually really rude on top of that. Oh well.
