On behalf of the Graduate Field Faculty in Computer Science, I regret to inform you that we cannot offer you admission to the Ph.D. Program in Computer Science, Ph.D. at Cornell University this year. We received an exceptionally high number of applications this year, and the overall quality of candidates was outstanding. Unfortunately, due to limited space in our program, we were not able to offer admission to many highly qualified individuals, including yourself. Thank you again for considering Cornell University, and we wish you continued success.

Our Graduate Admissions Committee has completed evaluation of your application to our graduate program. Unfortunately they did not select you for admission. We cannot cite a specific reason for your denial, but our graduate program is very competitive, and we are unable to admit many excellent applicants. We wish you well in your future endeavors.
