Response to previous post: I also haven't heard back from Vanderbilt.I gave them a call about a week ago, they said they hadn't made any final decisions. It's getting a little late in the game, especially considering they had one of the first deadlines. I'm getting pressure from other schools about making a decision. It's frustrating. | ||||

To the poster below: I posted previously asking about funding. I too get the impression that at least a few are on a waitlist for financial awards. Honestly, I was a bit surprised that several have reported being designated as an alternate. I was under the impression that Vandy tended to award most admitted students something. I suppose we will see! The cost of attendance is outrageous without some help. Fingers crossed. Good luck. | ||||

To the poster below about Vanderbilt funding, I spoke with Dr. Ricketts and he said that all student who are admitted are on the waitlist for funding (except of course the ones who have already been offered funding). | ||||

Was everyone accepted who wasn't initially granted funding designated an "alternate"? I thought I might be one of few accepted students put as an alternate, but it seems like everyone is waitlisted for $$$ (which makes for a very long waitlist) | ||||
