Declined the offer from OSU, will be probably accepting USC offer. Hopefully it helps someone in the waitlist

Got a rejection mail from the grad school even though I had received an acceptance notification from the department earlier (and also, after two of the professors agreed to advise me for the MS). The reason was my low GPA in undergrad (2.94/4.0, tier-1 college, India). Really sad about it.

POI called first, then I received a formal acceptance via email. Full funding plus GE fellowship! :D

Accepted. No word on funding yet. Asked to contact department for funding information. According to the e-mail, funding is usually separate from admission e-mail. 4/10 acceptance. 6 to go.

After waiting about 3 weeks after the interview, I decided to call the office and was was told I was accepted with full funding! Over the moon! :) Now its PhD decision time...

To those friends who received full-funding offer from UO but got better options, I'd greatly appreciate your early decline cause this is probably my last hope. Anxiously waited for two weeks and I got the rejection from my dream school this morning. ;)
