Graduated this spring, decided to take a gap year to expand my lab experience in a graduate lab. Applied this past fall for fall 22.

4.5 years post-bac research experience, low undergrad GPA

Quite disappointed though. The rejection was updated via the application portal. Congrats to those with interview!

General rejection letter. 3.5 years of graduate research

Rejected w/o interview.

Update to portal. Disappointed, but I have several interviews at equal or better programs. Congrats to all interviewing!

Received an email that my decision was posted to my portal and the rejection letter was there. I am a bit heartbroken because this was my top school. 3.8 GPA for cumulative and major. 3 years of undergraduate research experience at a small liberal arts school. No GRE. Attended their preview weekend. Multiple oral and poster presentations.

Over two years of research at the time of application. GPA also went up from 3.57 to above 3.6, though that was after applications were submitted. Three LORs, two very strong and one pretty good one. No pubs.

So surprised!

Undergrad from a Canadian institution. I submitted the application by the priority DDL and originally thought that I was rejected since I didn't receive the invitation in Dec. I updated my fall term grade a few days ago. I guess they are still sending out invitations to international students...
