I emailed to inquire. They are done--if you haven't heard yet, you're rejected. They'll send official letters next week.

I inquired via email and received a quick response.

waitlisted on funding.

Accepted off of the waitlist. No funding as of now, but keeping my fingers crossed that some will come available!

unofficial email with a formal letter coming soon

Fuckin' hell.

Rejection letters always hurt, but at least this one came with a free autograph from Ron Carlson!

I must third the fellow Wait-listers on this forum. Houston is the school I have wanted to attend since I decided to pursue the MFA. Other programs are asking for my decision, and I would hate to accept an offer and find out shortly afterwards that I was next in line at the dream school. If you already know you're not attending, please notify the program. Show some love to your fellow MFA applicants with the same dreams as you.

Very nice envelope. Very curt letter. I know it was a reach school, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. I've accepted an offer elsewhere, and congrats to those who got in!

Form email from the program coordinator giving us rejectees a heads-up. Email to check my status appeared this morning.

Seriously awful rejection letter. Attempts to be gentle, comes across as crass.

Mass e-mail from Associate Director of Creative Writing MFA. This was my top school, and I was hoping for better news.
