Not that surprised since the grad committee interviewed me in Jan and said they would inform the two potential PIs but they never interviewed me. Still took quite some time to tell me tho🤷â€â™€ï¸ just an email update with no change on applyweb | ||||

Generic Rejection email, but I was anticipating it since I haven't been reached by any of the faculty during the review period. For these schools you need to have a professor who wants to fund/take you, unless it is waste of time and money to apply. Better you contact your POI before you plan applying.
