Just got the rejection email an hour ago. Form R. Now I know and can move on. The wait while knowing that I didn't get it was torturous. I won't be applying next year, seems like a waste of $$$ on a lottery ticket. Sigh.

Emailed Lisa to get a better idea of the funding timeline. Told that initial funding offers will be going out Monday the 18th. Final admission deadline won't be until after all funding offers have been accepted.

Somewhat nice rejection letter. I heard a rumor that accepted folk were told a week or so beforehand, and were not allowed to post about it. Hope this information helps for those of you waiting next year (2020).

Email to check the portal. Portal notification to click through to the decision.

Email to check portal

2a/2w/3r/1p It hasn't been a bad run.

The fifth fully-funded program for which i have been waitlisted this year. What is it about my application that just screams "wait list me!"????

Has anybody heard anything from Brown? Second week in March, getting antsy.

"Given an unexpected delay in our admissions process this year, I wanted to keep you informed about the status of your application..." Very nice email informing me funding is still possible for some currently on the waitlist, but we won't know more until April!

Yeeeeeep, no email, just checked the portal.

I think the calls for fiction admits have started going out!

Checked portal. No email. 3a/0w/8r/9p

Checked the portal. It's a denial. 1a/9r/0w/5p.

Didn't receive an extra letter so I assume no funding which sucks. Will be choosing a different school.

No little not accompanying the letter, which helps to put things in perspective. 1a and what’s inevitably going to be 13r... I think it’s back to the drawing board for another application cycle. Can’t wait to ride the roller coaster next year with some of you fine folks!

Boo(wa)Hoo. Disappointed but not devastated...I think this probably isn't the right fit for me, anyway. 1a / 1r / 3p
