Got an interview from this PI. It went well. There was a mixture of technical and general questions..

Invited to departmental recruitment/interview week. I emailed potential PI's during the fall but never got a reply so I didn't expect to even be considered. Did an NSF-REU in the summer of 2021 and have been working on research at my current institution since January 2021. Have done a few presentations at regional conferences. McNair scholar, underrepresented minority and a parent.

Please ignore the interview choice (Could not find any other option). Question to the international students who applied for the Molecular Biology Ph.D. program at U of U. Did you receive an email from the program (interview, rejection?). I saw a couple of decisions from US students, so curious if international students got any news!
