Should've worked on my GPA and done more research.

Got an email with my rejection, they said they had 8% acceptance rate

Ignore the waitlist. Anyone heard about the decisions for the PhD program with Mechanical Engineering home department?

Wow this is completely unexpected given my 3 back to back pre-docs. I guess I won't be winning the John Bates medal.

Only surprise is how long they took to actually send the rejection email

Surprised it took them this long to send the email. At least the email was nice enough.

Responded to the e-mail stating that they can suck my transgender pussy.

Expected

Took them long enough

I didn't get the email, but I'm guessing it's an IR because I did not apply here.

Did other people get this: "Although we could not admit you to our program, we believe that you will have excellent offers from other schools." in their email?

"Although we could not admit you to our program, we believe that you will have excellent offers from other schools" feels like a break-up phrase "you'll find someone better"
