Got this offer a while ago. Planning not to attend.

Found out this morning. I am the one that said earlier that they were waitlisted. 2 BAs in 2 different fields, research experience in stats and ML and the other field (no pubs yet but they're on the way), and extremely good letters of rec from two of my research advisors. No name school. I can't believe it.

Same school as undergrad. Somewhat surprised by this rejection considering some of the other schools from which I received acceptances, but I guess it just goes to show how much of a crapshoot the admissions process can be. UBC is a great school, so congrats to the admitted :)

Please decline your offer if you have a better one. It is really driving me crazy... DGS said I'm on the top of the waitlist. As I am highly interested in Bayesian statistics, Duke is definitely the top choice for me. So I would really appreciate your decline of the offer. Please help me achieve my dream...
