Got 3 admissions, and rejected by 13 programs. Happy but disappointed at the same time. Good luck to y'all.

applied to 5 top poli sci phd programs this year, all rejected. International student, field: political communication, without poli sci degrees. Poli sci phd programs are so competitive and it seems that they don't welcome students from outside majors, compared with so called "tech" phd programs like hci, information, and cs, these programs seem more friendly. However, got a MA offer from Chicago MAPSS - poli sci. It's an encouragement.

Canadian. MA and 1 publication. Very generous funding and TA not required.

Canadian, UofT undergrad. Nominated for scholarship

Ignore the Status). Congrats to those admitted! This is my last application cycle ; if you are planning to attend other PhD Programs; please let Graduate Admissions know ASAP. Thanks :)

please ignore the status. Has anyone got any notice from the department of poli sci? This school is driving me crazy

Reached out and was notified that I was waitlisted.

CP subfield - supervisor copied to the e-mail - funding is pending it seems like - internal candidate, but from different department in Oxford - "upload button" disappeared two hours prior

Stoked, but funding and placement is an issue. (7a/4r/1p)

Ignore status: for those who have been interviewed, may I ask when your interview was? Thanks!

Sent an email to inquire about the progress of the application, and I was told to be put on the waiting list inside. Although the application before the MA has been informed of the power of Canadian research, today is a visual feel, indeed difficult.

Accepted without funding.

got accepted into higher program & committed to other school. Congrats to those admitted!

Please if anyone is not going, let the Department know ASAP so people can get off the list.
