Had two interviews with the PI and spoke to the group members. Received an offer letter from the department on 10th March and letter from Whiting School on 12th March. Will be accepting this offer!!

TTPB: I was the person who asked about news from POIs couple days ago. I'm accepted now :)

Looks like the decisions were made nearly two weeks ago but haven't received any intimation from the school regarding a rejection/acceptance (either official or from POI). I remember there were a bunch of people invited to recruitment but only two have people have posted their decisions. Has anyone heard from or contacted JHU recently? Seems like a definite rejection at this point but the wait is distressing.

Received Dean's scholarship of approximately $31,500 per year but still unsure if I will accept given limited funding and high COL in DC.

I did not submit GRE results. I was offered a Dean's scholarship of approx $28,000. My background is in the social sciences but does not include any IR or poly sci classes. I have been out of undergrad for about 5 years.

TTPB: Hey, it has been radio silence for me too. I have been talking with my PI and the other faculty that interviewed me about research, but I haven't asked them about admissions. The faculty that interviewed me told me that I should expect an answer by late February or early March, so I am waiting for Monday to come and email him asking about that lol.
