I'm so happy! this is my first acceptance. I cried for 30 minutes straight and even now as I write this I'm still shaking. Feels great to have this after a very rough 2 years where nothing seemed to work for me professionally and academically.

12/14 Interview Invitation, 1/6 Interview I got the email that "A Status Change to your application" and I checked my acceptance via the link.

Got an email telling to me check the portal. It said I was admitted but funding wouldbe considered separatley. Based on their website 90% of the students for the current year are funded. Does anybody know how funding works at UNC? I would appreciated any feedback from current students.

Emailed director of admission. Admitted to MS and waitlisted fro PhD. Anyone know the chances of getting off of the waitlist for UNC?

4.0 grad GPA, Two semesters of research experience (one in undergrad and one in my master's program) but no publications. My strongest LOR was also from a professor who recently graduated from the same program, so I think that really helped as well.

Emailed my first choice for PI yesterday afternoon, got an email from the department with an acceptance and funding offer the next day - and an email from the PI about 15 mins later
