CMU ECE guys, what track are you? Did you have interview?

Received acceptance email at 6:30PM EST with first year fellowship. This comes after an interview with my top choice POI one day earlier which went extremely well, despite having a non-ECE (but closely related) undergrad degree.

Interviewed with POI in late Dec. 5-year Bachelor degree. 4 first-author papers in decent journals. Just enough speaking score in the TOEFL. I thought I butchered the interview, and my GPA is mediocre (ranked among the top of my school though) but lucky enough, I passed. Just no word to describe my happiness right now.

Received an email from the director of admissions at 3:30PM PST. Hybrid visit day.

Had an interview with POI (mentioned in SOP) on 24th Jan. Got acceptance letter after 1 week.

Tier 1 Indian University, BTech in Mechanical Engineering

I received a phone call from my Fulbright advisor telling me that I was accepted.

Fully funded MS. Had an informal interview.

Interviewed with top choice POI mentioned in Statement of Purpose on 2/3 (received invite on 2/1). Very positive interaction and an excellent fit overall.

Intelligent Systems Robotics & Control track

I was contacted by two professors who are NOT mentioned in SoP. After having a discussion with first prof, i mailed him that my research interests are far from his future research areas and I'm opting out. Second prof's PhD students interviewed me. They were asking technical questions, derivations from my graduate coursework. Waiting for results
