Interviewed. PI (not one those mentioned in the application) said that it's extremely difficult to get through this year. So he can't guarantee anything. Kinda bummed.

Faculty member contacted personally on Saturday, the interview was the following day. Have not heard anything since.

TTPB: Congrats on your admit! What research area did you apply for?

College Park campus. Full funding guaranteed. I was entered for an additional fellowship as well. Coming straight out of undergrad. They said my letters were the reason i got in :)

To the poster who asked about interviews, yes, I interviewed with four profs around the second week of January

adding to the chorus of congrats! @accepted Maryland poster, did you do any interviews with Maryland faculty before being admitted?

To the poster below: Many congratulations! would you mind sharing research interests and subfield?

To the poster below, I have a 3.8 GPA, 2 research internships, not published, no GRE

TTPB: congrats!! This is super exciting news! Did you hear from the POI? Do you mind sharing your subfields and your STATS? Thanks!

I didn't take the GRE. I'm literally still processing this news x) good luck everyone!

No interview offered. Rejected. Applied to work with NN

TTPB: Which subfield did you apply for? Do you know if they're sending all the acceptance letters?

I was contacted two weeks ago and had an informal meeting with one faculty member, and today got an email from a different POI to set up (what seems like) a slightly more formal interview.
