Ignore the bottom post, the GPA was not correctly inputted. Canadian student from Waterloo (CAV is 79/100) and accepted to the thesis-based Statistics program. Accepted another offer already, but this university is great for Statistics and has good funding. Definitely recommend.

No funding, so this acceptance bears no real value. I would suggest future students to contact Professors prior applying to this program.

Its April 20th and havent gotten any response yet from UCLA. I was last informed of being on a waitlist. Is anyone else in a similar situation? Hoping for a positive turnaround as UCLA is my top priority.

Canadian. Accepted a fully funded thesis offer from another university two weeks ago anyways. For future applicants: I do not recommend UofT if you are doing an unfunded thesis; your life will be difficult.

Even if they accepted me, I would reject it. But It's super super late. I mailed the grad coordinator several times and always got the same reply, we shall get back to you when we would take a decision.
