It means that you must work as research assitant to hold the monthly stipend. It is part time, 20 hours per week. I also wonder, did your letter say that they offered you a Research Assistanship, or Graduate RA?

To the post that indicates admission to Purdue ChemE, how did you get the letter from the Purdue faculty? Do you guys have concrete interactions in the past such as research or during a course?

LOR from one proffesor at Purdue, International Student. Many years of research, NO PUBS, no master.

Extremely sad.

Emailed the program coordinator for an update. "The admissions committee finished reviewing applications late last week. They are making their decisions and will send out the invitations by the middle of next week."
