Got accepted by a top30 program, but did not even receive an interview from them. The process is obviously quite noisy.

called iowa today (3/12/20) and was told letters were mailed yesterday (3/11/20). it's almost over! good luck everyone.

Anyone offered admission to PhD in Astronomy track, Space Physics and do not intend to join, please let the admissions committee know. Please don't wait till the deadline. Thanks!

To the comment below for AMCS: I emailed them a couple weeks ago asking when to expect a decision and I was told, "Typically we send out decisions before April 15th, but sometimes after April 15th." Pretty useless.

Offered a teaching assistantship, but I am not planning to go to the University of Iowa.

One of my top choices so if you aren't going to go here, please let them know! Congrats to everyone accepted.

Just checked the app portal to see if anything had been sent out and the admission decision read "not admitted." I didn't get an email, a notification... nothing!!! I'm very disappointed in the history department/the university's communication. I've never had a school do something like this.

Do anyone get invited for interviews? Or is it the case that offers have already been given out? Thanks.
