So excited! Really hope there is movement on this list!

Like some others, unimpressed by UIC's website/professionalism during the process.

No feedback given, just a flat out standard rejection letter.

phone call and email from director of the program -- said they fell in love with my writing; offered me full tuition reimbursement and a stipend

I emailed to ask status. Official word will be out in a few days. Mark Cox said not many openings this year.

Received same email as all the others... for an open house. Does this mean we got in or was this an administrative gaffe?

Same email as previous poster, same situation. This is either premature or in very poor taste.

Very kind rejection e-mail; it was much kinder than UMASS Amherst's. Quiet grateful to have been rejected.

Tuition and living stipend included

A sweet email from Cary Holladay, which is a bit surreal. Info on funding hopefully sometime next week.

just got a letter in the mail from them saying im and the waitlist and they really want me in! if you get accepted and dont wanna go, let them know pls pls pls!!

Website rejection. I was tipped off by a fellow applicant on the forum.
