I was expecting to know if I'd been rejected or if I would be interviewed by Monday 10 February 2020 but didn't get any news from the admission office. I sent them an email on Wednesday 12, and they told me that the candidates invited for interviews had been contacted on Monday and that the other candidates had to wait until Thursday evening to be notified of their rejection (in the event that some of the candidates that were invited for interviews declined their invitation, the admission committee would contact other candidates to offer them an interview).

Fucking finally!! Their loss! :D

As the website says they are FINALLY closing application this week on Thursday, I predict we will hear from them next week

TTPB: Received the covid-19 update but haven't heard anything from the department (CMP). It has been over the 10 week period stipulated on their website but I guess things have been pushed back a little. I have heard from applicants from previous years that they can be notoriously slow.

Is there anyone else who received coronovirus update email and haven't heared back?

I can see posts from previous years people updated their result earlier than end of April which is now... So, does this mean there are lots of Physics applicants still havent heared anything this year?
