Flat out floored and very beyond thrilled!

Received email telling me to check website.

Email to check website.

Email from Elizabeth McCracken and Lisa Olstein. Really hoping to get through! If you're accepted and don't want to go, please give up the seat? :)

On a waitlist for funding. Fingers crossed so hard. My top choice.

Now posted on MCW's website: "Our final admissions decisions will be made on March 10th, and all admitted or wait-listed students will be contacted directly over the next day or two. This is somewhat later than our usual decision date, and we appreciate your patience in awaiting results. If you are not called or emailed by March 13, you have not been admitted or wait-listed, even though you may not have yet received a "deny" decision from Graduate Admissions (these can be delayed by glitches in your paperwork even though we have denied admission)."

I emailed them about the open house and I was told it was sent out t all applicants and admitted students. They also stated the open house was not an indicator of a possible interview or even a part of the admissions process. They should've just sent it out to admits at this point... :/

I cried out of joy. I didn't ever expect to be even wait listed at Iowa.

Email with phone call to follow. Teaching fellowship offered.

At least the email was nice (even if everyone got it) - "Please know that your work was well received and taken seriously."

The subject line of the e-mail had a spelling error in it, which I took a lot of pleasure in. Not that bummed.

Phone interviewed on Feb 27, offer made on Feb 28, full tuition and stipend

Waitlisted for funding.

As someone mentioned, e-mail says there weren't many spaces available this year.

Waitlisted for funding/TA

First semi-good news! Also really, really, really hoping for movement on the wait list! Fingers crossed.
