So Ill decline one of my "fu*king offers" as soon as I get the official letter of acceptance from Waterloo.

To the guy confused between Waterloo and USC you should go anyday with Waterloo. Much more selective program and way cheaper. It is math intensive which is great for jobs like data scientist. I'v also heard that it is a silicon valley feeder program especially for internships. So go ahead without any hesitation with Waterloo.

So excited! MMath Coursework with the option to switch to thesis later. Got the acceptance notification by email from profs I've been in contact with (had interviews; weren't really technical, we just talked about my grades, projects, our mutual research interests). Quest still says decision pending, so hang tight, they're still sending out accepts.

But leaning towards Masters in Machine Learning at KTH, Sweden. Any suggestions anyone?

I called and spoke with the C.S. recruitment coordinator. The admissions department is still working. Both admits and rejects are still coming. Up to a couple weeks wait is possible.

How can they outrightly lie to the applicants? Decisions should be out by April end according to the mail.

Had an interview at the starting of April. Received official letter of admission just yesterday with financial aid of ~35k CAD/year.

I thought we would all get informed by today? (I received the same mail as others posted below). Quest still shows "no decision has yet been made by the academic department". Has anyone received updates?

Is there any hope now? Haven't received anything from them
