TTPB: Yes, I was accepted in early February and the visit day was on February 26. Not sure if that's of any help.

GPA 89/100, 2 years research experience in astronomy, no publications expected rejection based on the number of applicants and funding this year, it's my dream school because of the numerical relativity research.

Undergrad from top private university in India. Interview with POI in November (before applying).

Has anybody got any offer this week? I had got a mail(common) which stated that they will give out the majority of results this week (28 Feb to 5th March).

Anybody know anything about their decisions timeline? I haven't heard back from any of these programs. It seriously pisses me off when they take years to get back to you and at the end of the day it's still a rejection. I mean, WTF!!!!

TTPB: Radio Silence for now. I mailed them asking the timeline. they sent a generic mail. However, a few ppl I know have done interviews with their POI and received acceptances from them. So not much hope as UIUC is faculty-centric.

TTPB. I missed the meet and greet event in Feb as their mail ended up in spam. Could you please tell what was discussed in the meet and would not attending affect my admit chances? Thanks.

Received an email from the department saying that I would receive another official one from UIUC, does anyone already got the official offer? I haven't got it yet...
