Generic email to check the website 1.5 weeks after interview.

Racking up those R's babeyyyyyy

As expected. :(

Finally got my rejection email from Christine. Email mentioned I was a finalist, encouraging me to apply again next year...very similar wording to others on here but no less kind to hear!

Not me listening to "New York Groove" RIGHT when I got this email lmaoooooo

semi-finalist

I stalked that portal all day!!

Had an interview a few weeks ago. So far for playwriting MFAs: 1a/2w/1r, and two I haven't heard from yet.

Form rejection pretending to be a personal rejection. (Maybe they don't know that applicants talk to each other?)

It was a very kindly worded email, as far as rejections go.

Very sweet personalized email from Christine. Didn't get an interview earlier, so I saw the writing on the wall before it happened lol

Form email offering spot on the waitlist. Never offered an interview.

Very short email saying I've been waitlisted and asking whether I want to stay on the list.

Nice personal email from Christine Scarfuto saying I was a semi-finalist, that she really loved my play, and that I was a very promising artist, but this was the strongest year of applications they ever had and I was not accepted. She also said they "will be rooting for me." Nicest rejection ever?
