To the Harvard wait lists, this is what I know, even though I have not been wait listed. Apparently there are about 10 accepted, six on the wait list, expected yield is probably between 8-10. They had to do major funding slashes this year so consider yourself very lucky, really it's not you it's them. Hang in there, I know wait list is hard but everyone that got into harvard prob got into yale princeton etc. Shifting will happen and at least 2-3 people will come off the wait list (I would imagine!). Again, congratulate yourselves -- this is GREAT!

I got that same lame letter that "Erm, thanks" received. Ah well.
