TTPB: Not in your department, but I am also waiting to hear back. I emailed the department but just got a sort of vague response so I don't even know if I should take the radio silence as a rejection

80% average. 1 year of research experience

I have waited on a notification for months, so I emailed the potential P.I. I had been talking to and asked if she had any insights. She said she was interested in working with me, but the departments funding and her own personal funding were limited due to COVID reasons and she wasn't able to take any grads this year like she had planned.

It was under department review since March, they finally gave out the decision -_-

Presidential Fellowship, full tuition waiver.

Rejected after waiting for 4 months. I got a better offer from another good school.

Full tuition fee waiver scholarship

Applied to work in planetary geology.

Was looking specifically to work in planetary science/astrobiology.

No notification, just checked the portal

Awaiting info re. stipend amount. Good luck everyone!

Found out I was waitlisted upon email inquiry. No notification otherwise.

Did anyone receive notification from the department of geoscience? It's been a long time.

Rejected through email. Told they didn't have funding. Good luck everyone!

I think I was probably waitlisted since I had a phone interview with a professor and then had radio silence up until this decision came out. The letter said that they received over 200 applicants this year and their acceptance rate was < 10%, which seems in line with what other people have reported from previous years.
