Got a call and email from the department chair to set up a phone interview later in the week.

This is not an official interview invite, but merely a phone call gauging my interest in the program and informing me about the program's strength. At best, this may be seen as a phone interview I guess

Posting this on behalf of my SO, who was accepted with tuition waiver and assistantship. Possible fellowship but no word on this yet.

Already had too many students. Didn't they know how many students they had BEFORE I paid my application fee?

They emailed me that there was an update to my application, and there was a link to the decision letter.

Received email from head of department, invited to interview day on March 6th.

Canadian Applicant. Received email to check status on MyFile.

Finally got word of full admission after being told I was being nominated back in December. 3.5 years of research, 1 poster presentation, 2 papers in the work. Juggles fruit.

Was sent an email from my POI saying that I was recommended for full admission, but that the official decision wouldn't be for sure until January.

I got an email from the faculty to whom I applied and I've essentially been "soft" accepted. He said that there is essentially no chance that the decision will change, but it still makes me a little nervous.

Checked website, said application for admission was not approved...
