Received an email letting me know that an update had been posted to my portal. Rejection was a form letter. Kind of bummed because it seems like a great department, but I'm lucky to have one acceptance to a program I'm really excited about! Congratulations to those who got in!

What? Whaaaaaaaaaat? Yeah, baby!

GRE scores do matter!

With a couple options, I'm just ready to hear from the rest, so I can finally make a decision.

Email to check website. Typical form letter about "limited resources and competition among well-qualified applicants" etc. Must have been a small cohort this year given the lack of acceptances posted here.

rejected more than lenny & squiggy. 1a/0w/8r

Not too surprised about this and not too disappointed. I really only applied because the app was free.

must've been a clerical error

Personal email from POI. Had phone interviews at the start of February.

POI called me to tell me that their spot in Historical Studies went to Reformation this year. Since I study American Religious History, I didn't have much of a shot from the get go this year.

An email saying this: "No final decision has been made about your application yet. Our recruitment committee did not put you on the current short list, however we may get back to your application later. It this case you will hear from us after April 15." A long wait list...

Stoked! Got a few thousand for scholarship, as well. Don't give up if your undergrad GPA is no bueno!
