Received email to check status. No interview, thought it was coming.

Rejected from 2 Year MS program

Got an Email notifying me to check the portal.

An expected rejection after PI encouraged me to apply. Congrats to those admitted.

No interviews. Average profile. Expected.

TTPB: Thanks ! I don't actually have a POI assigned at admission, instead I have a one year department fellowship which will allow me to finalize an advisor by end of the first year. I had 4 interviews with faculty from circuits, all went pretty smoothly, only 2 technical questions were asked.

Received an email saying "A decision has been made regarding your admission to the University of California, Berkeley." No interview.

Failure fails everyday

Should have applied to the MS/PhD program. This is unfortunate.

No interviews

Received an email with "An update has been posted on your application status page."

TTPB: Congrats on the acceptance (circuits and systems track). If you don't mind, could you share your profile and the initials of your PoI (IG/PM/HPL/DH/other)? How were the interviews?

Received mail and letter from ECE admissions office. Area: Circuits and Systems. Had interviews during virtual visit week. Funding for 5 years.

3 strong rec letters, 3 semesters of internships, 1 year of research. Electromagnetics and Energy Systems specialization.

TTPB who got accepted, did your applyweb ststus change? or you just got the email from the department and nothing has changed on the website..?

TTPB thank you for your sharing.. I had a interview with him and I guess you got the interview too and you only get admitted.. Congratulations! Would you mind sharing your thought on my SOP? This is my email.. clifford73355413 gmail.
