Another rejection to add to our growing list here. Good luck everyone!

GPA is Grad. 2a/0w/2r/19p.

GPA is grad. This one hurt a little. The department would have been a great fit, and it was one of only 2 of my top 10 choices that are not ranked in the top 25 programs on PGR, so it was one where I thought I might be more likely to get in. One thing that did make my feel better was that I heard through the grapevines that Northwestern received 350 applications this year, about 100 more than usual. So, I'm trying not to get to worried just yet. 0a/2r/0w/19p

Received email, thought it was an okay fit, so far three rejections and seven more to go, not looking good.

First rejection! 4.0 grad GPA. 1a/1r/0w/20p

4.0 grad gpa. My first rejection, email to check portal. It was not my top choice but still an ouch. 1a/1w/1r/many

e-mail to check the portal. GPA is undergrad. 3.79 MA in philosophy. first rejection, hit hard. 0a/0w/1r/11p

Emailed to check portal. Hurts, but better to know! First program I hear back from. 0a/1r/11p

Email to check to portal. It's admittedly not the best fit, as I'm doing continental philosophy and the department seems to go towards the anlytical. 0a/3r/0w/7p (not all philosophy departments)

Checked the portal, since I never received an email. Undergraduate chemistry major. 4.0 in 5 phil classes taken as a non-degree student. 0a/2w/3t/27p

Thank you, next~

Funny. I got into Chicago, which I considered a reach, while I thought Northwestern was (comparatively) a backup. Oh whale.
